Is it hard to be one out of 7.5 billion people? And thereby even being unique? What does it mean to be an individual? We are undoubtedly born as individuals, our short existence is in itself something new and an entity that has not been here yet. Thus, it is not hard to be unique in the beginning. However, to retain or even to expand individuality in the course of our life, to remain an individual, so to speak, is a significant and thrilling challange. This is due to a society in which one has to be functioning and to adapt oneself to the unwritten rules of society. The omnipresent tension between the individual and society accompanies us throughout our life. Everybody has to face this tension by himself. (At least) in this respect, we are all unique.
